VIRTUAL WORKSHOP

Welcome to the this new site, dedicated to the joint virtual workshop between Tel Aviv University (TAU) and the University of Zurich (UZH)!
COVID-19 global impact has made it impossible for TAU and UZH representatives to come together as planned. However, while we will all miss the active debate of a live event, conducting the workshop virtually is a good alternative to a physical “speed dating” event and to develop initial plans.
At a first meeting on September 2019 between representatives of Tel Aviv University (TAU) and the University of Zurich (UZH), the two institutions found many parallel research efforts. In particular, there are emerging opportunities for collaboration between TAU and UZH's Digital Society Initiative (DSI) in the fields of Smart Cities / Mobility, Data Science / Data Management, and Digital Democracy / Communication.
The virtual format of this workshop on 14/15 October will focus on two potential clusters: Smart Cities / Mobility and Digital Democracy / Communication.
